POSITION DESCRIPTION
To support China business growth, a FAS is required to serve as a primary technical field contact for ProteinSimple customers, responsible for all customer application trainings, and providing data analysisand troubleshooting support in the responsible territory with the primary goals are to ensure good utilization of systems to sustain customer retention and drive revenues with the main task and responsibilities as below:
• Coordinating new installations with FSE, reviews and approves operational quality of equipment, and instructs customers in operations and maintenance of system under general instruction.
• Troubleshooting issues related to user's technical skills, biochemistry/assay design, and experimental design.
• Ensure customer satisfaction through excellent communication and by maintaining a high level of technical and application competence of ProteinSimple products
• Helping to maintain and increase product usage, and supporting routine sales efforts through technical presentations and demonstrations.
• Providing strategic and competitive customer feedback to marketing and product development teams.
• Developing key company processes that support our mission of building a world-class customer support organization.
• Other projects or tasks assigned by line manager
• Conduct business in full compliance to behavior in business and in competition

QUALIFICATIONS
• Preferably with field application support experience with good track record for working in a MNC company for at least 2 or more years
• Research experience in wet laboratory, especially in protein analysis research
• Required to work independently in a self-supervisory capacity and be self-motivated
• Ability to effectively communicate and interact with customers and employees
• Energetic, enthusiastic and hungry for success
• Have excellent written and verbal communication skills, particularly in areas of negotiation, persuasion, research & problem solving
• Proficiency in English
• Strong working knowledge of MS Office, basic graphics software and database management software required
• Ability to work together in a constructive way with colleagues in anticipating and resolving issues

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
• Ph.D. /M.S. in Biology, Immunology, Biochemistry or related field is required
• Proteomics, cell signaling and/orcancer biology background a plus

Account Manager--Shanghai

POSITION DESCRIPTION
• Achieve assigned sales targets while remaining within an established expense budget
• Ensure customer satisfaction through excellent communication and by maintaining a high level of technical and application competence of ProteinSimple products
• Monitor competitors activities, products and potential new or improved applications or product extensions
• Work with Country Manager, China in developing sales programs and strategies
• Provide monthly revenue and product forecasting, quarterly plans of action, status and expense reports, as required
• Attend trade shows, seminars and workshops as necessary as well as maintaining customer contacts to develop and improve sales skills
• Perform other related duties with special filed projects as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS
Work experience requirements:
• 3-5 Years of high value Capital Equipment sales experience required in the research tools market targeting academic, biotech and pharmaceutical customers
• Experience in selling proteomics tools preferred
• Be highly motivated with demonstrative interpersonal, presentation & organizational skills
• Energetic, enthusiastic and hungry for success
• Have excellent written and verbal communication skills, particularly in areas of negotiation, persuasion, research & problem solving
• Proficiency in English
• Strong working knowledge of MS Office, basic graphics software and database management software required
• The ability to work with a high degree of independence, self-starter

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

Position Description

Title: Technical Service Engineer, reporting to Country Manager, Shanghai

Position Responsibilities:

a.       Implement and update the service SOP to meet the market and customer’s needs

b.       Responsible for technical service support and training to the field distributors and partners

c.       Provide field service support and training to the key accounts requested by local government, legal bidding etc., including Install, upgrade, repair, troubleshoot and maintain instruments

d.       Respond promptly to customer inquiries, handle and resolve customer complaints for customer satisfaction

e.       Develop and Mentor FSEs for our territory distributors

f.        Experience in lab chemistry and / or biology desired

g.       Write FSB(field service bulletin) and technical feedback from field experience

h.       Communicate and coordination with internal department and HQ service & support

i.         Involve local workshop, seminar and user meeting etc. in the field

j.         Other projects or tasks assigned by line manager

k.       Conduct business in full compliance to behavior in business and in competition                       

Qualifications
